FAQ - Temporary Tattoo Stickers

A) PRODUCT INFORMATION

1. What are your Temporary Tattoos made of?

We make Temporary Tattoos printed using an FDA-certified toner, on custom tattoo printing paper that is commonly used in parties, parades and music festivals. The tattoo is an image printed on water-permeable paper. You press the paper, ink side down, against the skin and cover the back of the paper with a wet towel or cloth, which transfers the Temporary Tattoos to the skin.

2. How do I remove these Temporary Tattoos?

OneDayPrint’s Temporary Tattoos are waterproof, easy to apply, and will last up to 2-3 days without scrubbing. Should you wish to remove them immediately, the Temporary Tattoos will come off with gentle scrubbing or baby oil or rubbing alcohol.

3. Do you print your Temporary Tattoos in gold / silver / luminous ink?

Not at the moment! Perhaps in the future. Do check our Instagram @OneDayPrintSG for updates on this.

B) SAFETY CONCERNS

1. Are your Temporary Tattoos safe for use?

We use FDA-compliant toners that are skin safe. Our Temporary Tattoos are non-toxic and hypoallergenic, but we do not recommend applying these tattoos on sensitive skin or on children below 3 years old.

Generally, here is the Safety Advisory for our Temporary Tattoos:
i) Do not apply to sensitive skin or if you are allergic to adhesive
ii) Do not apply if you have a history of rashes or skin allergies
iii) Do not apply near the eyes or any other sensitive part of your body

2. But I heard that Temporary Tattoos have a history of causing allergic reactions?

Temporary Tattoos products with a history of causing allergic reactions include: Henna, Airbrush Temporary Tattoos with non-FDA approved inks, and tattoos micro-injected into your skin with an applicator. Which OneDayPrint does not produce or provide such services.

3. Are there any laws or regulations regarding Temporary Tattoos in Singapore?

Temporary Tattoos are not classified as cosmetic products as per the Health Sciences Authority of Singapore:
https://www.hsa.gov.sg/cosmetic-products/overview/classification

Other than the above, we can't find any laws or regulations regarding Temporary Tattoos in Singapore.

C) PRODUCTION & SHIPPING

1. What is the Lead Time for your Temporary Tattoos? (Updated)

Most of our printed products can be completed within 24hrs. However, for Temporary Tattoos, we need at least 48hrs to print depending on your requirements. (Read here for more details)

In some cases, we may only print a small batch for you to try out first before proceeding to print the rest of the order. This process may take at least a week or more (not 24hrs).

We'll advise if we can fulfil your order after reviewing the requirements via email.

2. What is the smallest or largest Temporary Tattoo size I can print?

We recommend not going smaller than 25mm, and not larger than 80mm or it will be challenging to apply the Temporary Tattoo evenly on your skin. The max printable size is 400mm x 277mm.

3. Do you have a minimum order?

For Uncut Sticker Sheets, we print and charge per sheet. (we will try to squeeze as many Temporary Tattoos as possible for you in a sheet)
For Die-cut, we will advise accordingly via email as it is subject to availability.
